Cancellations  and Fee change from 01/10/2022

Before you book please check our cancellation policy 

Deposits Required
We require a £25 non refundable non transferable deposit per room to secure your cats room
£50 non refundable non transferable deposit per room over 16 days 

The deposit is to be paid within 5  days of your booking thank you. 
After this period due to high demand for our rooms we can not guarantee a room will be available.  A notification will be sent out to you if your booking has expired due to a deposit is not received. 

Cancellations Policy changes (living with covid) 
If you cancel your booking less than 7 days before the start of your cats stay a lower fee of £25 per room will be charged in addition to the £25 deposit per room that has already been received. This fee is replacing the 50% of the invoice as previously required.
We are all having to live with the last minuet disruptions/
disappointments that covid causes. I hope you understand that in fairness to ourselves and our staff and to continue to maintain our high standards. 
This  policy 
requirement is to be in place whilst covid if effecting travel and tourism industry 

All bookings are looked at as individual cases 
  Amendments to bookings less than 7 days before arrival will not be deducted from invoice  inclusive also Christmas and New Year.
 Unfortunately we are not able to offer deposits to be carried over onto another booking.

We ask you please to check holiday Insurance for those people who are travelling abroad regarding flights and borders closures. 
Other reasons for wavering the fees will be at the discretion of ourselves. 
We always do our upmost to re let your rooms wherever possible.

 Owners returning to collect their cats before the contracted booking period will be required to pay the full contracted booking fee for your cats room. No refunds for early pick ups.  Payment are required on arrival of your cat/s into our cattery.

Fees include:
Food, bedding, toys, brushing, playtime, heaters/ heat pads when required.


New prices will come into effect from 25th March 2023 as we reopen for the summer season.

  • 1 Cat: £15.00/ day inc. VAT            £16 per day 

      2 Cat: £24.00/ day inc. VAT           £25 per day

Family Suite:  

(5 ft x 10 ft)

  • 2 Cats: £24.00/ day inc. VAT           £25 per day 

  • 3 Cats: £27.00/ day inc. VAT           £30 per day

(8 ft x 10 ft)

  • 2 Cats: £30.00/ day inc. VAT           £32.00 per day 

  • 3 Cats: £34.00/ day inc. VAT            £35.00 per day 

  • 4 Cats: £37.00/ day inc. VAT            £39.00 per day 


Family Suite: Interconnecting standard and 1 Family room.

  • 4 Cats: £40.00/ day inc. VAT            £42.00 per day

  • 5 Cats: £43.00/day inc.  VAT             £45.00 per day

  • From £50 per day

Our fees are charged on a day rate. A full day will be charged on day of arrival and day of  departure. However, if you collect your cat before 9.00 am on departure day you will not be charged a full days fee for that day. After 01/10/2022 an overnight supplement  fee of £5 will be charged per room for keeping your cat/s for their last  night stay with an early collection on the following day.

Minimum Stay

Due to our high cleaning standards we have a minimum stay for our rooms

Unfortunately as with everything this year, our sundries have gone through the roof, instead of increasing our daily rate we are now going to have a minimum fee of £50 per room. 

Over Bank Holidays there is a 4 day minimum charge for all rooms. 

We do not charge any extra for bank holidays including Christmas, Boxing and New years day, however there is a 6 day minimum charge for either Christmas or New year,  please see our opening times for this period on our opening times page. 

 Fee Change from 1st October 2022


Unfortunately, we are all experiencing the increase in our household living cost.

With the present increase and the talks of yet another increase in our fuel cost this Autumn, we have had no choice but to look at our daily cattery fee’s.

If you would like us to keep your cat /s after 6pm with an early morning collection between 8.30am -9.00am a one-off fee of £5 per room will be added to your invoice.


Due to ever increasing prices we are experiencing with our supplies and electricity costs we are now only able to offer a  5% discount is given to bookings over 30 days.

Payment Method

We accept BACs, cheque and cash payment. Payment of balance is due on arrival. Cats can be collected earlier than the departure date, however, you will still be charged for the total period booked. Cheques to be made payable to A.K.H. Car and Commercial Ltd. Please contact us for BACs details.

Over Runs

Please ensure you book for the maximum period you will require. During busy periods we may not have space to 'hold over' a cat for longer than booked. We appreciate that delayed flights etc. are beyond your control and we will always do our best to accommodate your cat until you can collect them.
