It's always a worry when leaving a special kitty friend when going on holiday. So we are extremely happy to have found Arcadia Cattery because our beautiful boy Nemo has been so well cared for during his stay. He's come home and just picked up where he left off, not at all unnerved by his week at the cattery. Such a relief and so reassuring to get sent photos of him enjoying himself when we were away. Thanks so much to everyone at Arcadia Cattery

We went on a holiday for one week, we left our kitten with Arcadia cattery and it was amazing service from them , our kitten was really settled perfectly and really happy there, well taken care of, our kitten was really happy there , we will absolutely give our cat to Arcadia in case of being away anytime, Highly recommended.

"I just wanted to say how wonderful and caring you all are. I think Tharlom prefers the cattery to being at home. He has everything he needs at home and he has a comfortable life, but he's much happier at the cattery. Next time he comes to stay, it will defiantly be for longer. "We visited to check out the cattery before leaving our 7 month-old Bengal here, and were happy enough with the staff and facilities that we booked her in for a three night stay. She has since stayed for those 3 nights and came out as happy and healthy as she was when we left her. One of the things that swung me was that the cattery is constructed from UPVC which is easier to clean than wooden structures. Overall it's a very good modern construction. And the owners do really give the impression that they care about every cat that stays with them."

"5 stars. Absolutely outstanding. I have two needy little cats, they're hand reared from one day old, half siamese and absolute people cats. They love a brush and and they crave attention. Hardly catlike at all. Usually when they have to go in a cattery (which before now I would avoid) they would come home shell shocked, fur feeling horrid, smelling a bit weird and just out of sorts. We left them at Arcadia for the longest time I have ever left them in 9 years. Normally I worry whilst I'm on holiday if they're okay and fret. This time, none of that. I got photos and emails which were lovely! You could tell from the content they'd obviously got to know them so well as they spoke of their individual traits. When we picked them up it was like we had never left them! Will definitely be using Arcadia again, their service is absolutely top notch for the cats and their owners. It made a magical holiday (we got engaged) ever more wonderful and I am so chuffed we have found them. The cats even had a congratulations card ready for us when we came to pick them up ;-). You won't be disappointed."

"This is such a lovely place! I had to leave my 4 month old kitten Luna behind whilst I went to see relatives who were visiting from abroad. I was super apprehensive at first, with her being so young and never having used a cattery before. Linda showed us around before we booked which immediately put my mind at ease and I knew Luna would be okay. When we were away Linda sent us photos of our fur baby so that we were sure she was happy and she seemed to be having a great time! The atmosphere there was lovely and calm and it was so quiet there! I would absolutely trust Linda to look after Luna again and I can't recommend this place enough! "

"Our cat Lady is very old, 27 years old in fact, she has seen a few catteries in her day but Arcadia is by far the best one she has been to.The owner is a real cat lover. Their cat Mr Darcy has confirmed this. I was apprehensive at first because of Lady's age, but my fears were soon put to rest. Especially after receiving an email with her photo attached saying everything is okay.The whole place is stunning, very clean and organised. A big thank you to Linda Harris and her team of girls for looking after Lady as she is not the easiest elderly cat look after."

"Jasmine stayed at Arcadia for 3 weeks in September we had email updates and photos of her during her stay. The accommodation is spacious and airy and very clean with plenty of home comforts for your furball. "Linda looked after my two kittens during the Easter holidays for a week. I was really impressed that she seemed to really know the character of the cats and had obviously spent quite a bit of time with them, not just to see to their day to day basic needs, but also to play with them and entertain them as well. We have booked in again for the next holidays. Linda has also inspired me to get a steam cleaner so my house can be as spotless as the cattery!"

"Ah this cattery is an amazing hotel for cats! Mello has just come home after 5 days holiday as we had a decorator in. She is already missing her neighbour and Mr Darcy! "5 stars. I can't recommend Linda and the Arcadia Cattery highly enough. My boy Elvis has just spent a week at the cattery and was happy and relaxed when I picked him up. It was clear from talking to Linda that she had spent time getting to know Elvis and he had obviously been cared for rather than just looked after. Having noticed that I was apprehensive about leaving Elvis, Linda even went out of her way to e-mail me to let me know how my boy was getting on. Worth every penny."

The fees are a little bit more than I am used to paying but on arriving you can see that the cattery and the equipment in the rooms are of outstanding quality. "Jack has just returned from a week at Arcadia. From first going to view the place and meeting Linda it was clear that they have worked hard to create a wonderful environment for their lodgers. The pens are so much bigger and brighter than anything we have ever seen. We have only used a cattery once and I'll be honest it wasn't a great experience, however I have to say, Jack has clearly loved his time with Linda. She was kind enough to send us email updates while we were away which was very reassuring. On our return Jack was happy, relaxed and not sulking with us so he has clearly had a great time! Thanks so much, we will be arranging to book him in for later in the year. Will certainly recommend to others."
